Pretties By Scott Westerfield

This book is the sequel to Uglies, It takes place in a utopian society. The Main Character, Tally Youngblood,  is now pretty. She lives in New Pretty town with all the other new Pretties. She has very little memory of her trip to the Smoke, or her adventure to save the smokies, she now wishes it never happened. The book is great, though I typically prefer books told from the first-person point-of-view. The characters are more difficult to relate to in this book than the same characters from Uglies as they were brainwashed for this book, they are abnormally vain and have overly extreme emotions. This book is really good, if you enjoy the study of perfection as i do, you will enjoy this book as it shows an easy way to create a utopia, mind-control.
