Garageband

6/10

This app is great if you have electronic instruments and the cables needed to use them, or if the prerecorded sounds are good enough for you. But if they aren’t, this app is no good what so ever. Garageband makes it almost impossible to manually enter notes, in manuscript form. It took me almost two days to figure out how to do it without help from the app. After I did find it though, it took five hours just to input one track for a one-minute song. A good thing is that you can buy guitar and piano lessons from the app. The only problem with lessons that are not done live is that if you are having issues, the app can’t help you. Is it worth using? Decide for yourself. It is free for Mac users, and it is good if you have electronic instruments. But if not, don’t waste your time.
